 I have built 7 of them but for a time, was only getting 6000 additional research capacity (persistant, I did some NPC's in between and went back). I went through all of the planets on which I built them (counting to make sure) and when I went back to the research tab, lo and behold it was now 7000 additional capacity.

sounds like you fixed the problem...

yea, planets have this weird thing that unless you go and LOOK and them, anything new won't show up on your production...it's quite annoying

i usually refresh my browser after making changes to my planets so i can see them
