Not that I'm complaining but when I hacked someone it didn't take any energy away. I stayed at full energy (having just ranked up).

Same thing happened to me, although I thought it might have been because a halcyon trap went off at the exact same time I ranked up. Raids didn't cost me energy either, but missions and attacking did. Lasted until I was disabled.
