Three things:
1. You must have really good scan (for your rank).
2. He must have really bad cloak (for his rank).
3. You must have gotten really lucky. :P

Like I said, I'm guessing he has bad/0 cloak.

he is on mine as well, he was hit with a Firewall, dropping his cloak.

ok, so im finding this to be a glitch, considering i can only see up to rank 488 on the bt. he shouldnt be there. im only rank 349 btw, so if youre lower than me there is even more evidence of the problem going on here.

if you have high scanning, you can see anyone whose cloak is lower than yours, regardless of level. so it is entirely possible for a rank 180 to see me, because I don't have a lot of cloak.

If your scanning is high enough, or someone has tripped a QFT trap (dropping their cloak) they can appear on your battle tab.....the 40% of your rank limit is only below you, not above you.

The higher-end level range of the BT has been extended a bit. You should be able to see ships of higher rank (than before) that do not have much cloaking.
