It seems unlikely they would call you out on that. Basically, they make the terms very broad to make sure they cover all their bases, but they only bring up a breach of the terms if a problem comes up.

There should be an account "stewardship" feature that allows you to appoint a steward to get your resources and do some basic upkeep while you are away (especially for vacations!).

Other games have this feature and it would really be helpful as long as it had the proper limitations (like steward can't abandon any of your planets, use GP, invade planets, etc).

i see a little gap in this. He is not truly playing/controlling/using another account to play the game.

well FB must not really care that much otherwise they would do sumthing about the people that "frape" their friends. & seriously.... logging in2 your pets account? they cant even use a comp. honestly thats just ridiculous.

The prob is having ppl clear out the resources every hour. that becomes unfair.

i know that people make pages for theyre pets. but you were saying that you cant sign into your pets account or its somehow illegal. my point is that pets cany use computers so obviously said profile actually belongs 2 a human who more than likely has their own account. so yea. this "rule" is just plain idiotic.

I do understand the point, even though this is a game, it has clear rules, and these must be taken seriously, the TOS must be taken seriously, or this game gets runned over my multi's and your beloved game will fall apart. Anarchy : A state where there is no rules.

That's the only i disagree with you about, everything else about Marto i dont really have a concern about. His a good guy and does the right thing.

Genny, your right this just a game. However in games everyone has to play by the rules, and when they dont the game is no longer fun for everyone else. I think we all agree that using a bot of some kind to get resources is cheating, but what makes it cheating is not that their using a program, but that they arnt playing the game but they are getting the pros of playing the game. This is the same in the scenario of having someone else play your account, even if its just to get resources for you.
Rather then getting someone else to play your account you should plan accordingly, if your going to end up having more energy by taking off your relays when you go to bed then you would by having them off, take your relays off.
If your not going to be able to get get to your resources before they max out, get more of resources that you wont max out of.

In short, not everyone has a partner or a team of people to help them play one character so that it never misses a beat, so it would be unfair to let others have a partner or team. It is multing and it is against the rules.
P.S. Commonwealth is right on the trolling thing, granted what he said was a bit of a joke, it is a public forum and your going to get different opinions, some of which dont care if you get banned.
