 page refresh MUCH more often

Oh so there IS a pattern to it ? Always seemed random to me. It stopped happening on repair timer = 0, but sometimes still happens on send timer = 0 I think, if you are on the relevant page. Maybe it's on the hour if you are on a page with a timer..


it always refreshes when a trap wears off or when the action timer resets. so pretty much you cant pvp for extended periods anymore. i see why dan might have done this to prevent the farming of people for days, but every 15 minutes??? c'mon. make it 48 hour refreshes. that way itll do the intended purpose, and only screw over us waiting men once every two days, instead of once every quarter hour.



As i have it figured out,
if you are on a page that has a timer, and it reaches its end, GL reloads
but now lately, it also force reload on the hour too.

Hit me 8am precisely. Doesn't do anything when I'm on repair page waiting and timer hits 0 though, but the one on the hour will trigger even if you are in the middle of an NPC or something; this is not a pvp mechanism only. Since I don't pvp I don't know about the "more often" refreshes. It really should just have timed access control on eligible player targets, that would have solved the issue without this refresh; a battle tab or alert has an expiration time; if you hit the person after that, it will not allow it since you -> them relationship had expired.

Now 10am. Seems to confirm it.

still not happening every single hour.... though I agree now it is definitely coming from GL...

perhaps we need to write this up in suggestions and ideas. its rather unfortunate that enemies are now time sensitive once you engage them. LAME
