The traps effectiveness is pointless, if they are not able to do what they say and are just junk if they don't work! If other traps were available as you progressed, even if paid for, then it would be relevant to the rank and ship playing, or it becomes a useless game after certain levels and those willing to spend hundreds to level up in a day will prevail over those who work their way up and stand no chance of getting the satisfaction of having mods and artifacts that actually work for their rank!!

AS INTENDED. We've asked Dan to change it to automatically trigger on the second shot but he apparently feels that the current mechanic is best.
