its ok, you tried to help narrow it down, even if your help didn't identify the problem :) i'm still grateful for your help regardless. I'll have to use Chrome for the time being until it either solves itself or FF 6.0 releases.

strange... it no longer happens, and i haven't done anything to FF either...
