This IS happening, as it happened to me. I hacked a random player for 67 research, went to sleep, and awoke to find that I had been disabled. At first I thought, oh well. Then, an hour later I returned to that game to find that I was disabled AGAIN. I hacked the guy who had disabled me, which of course prompted more retaliation. It took ME posting on his wall to find out what was up for the actions to stop. I have no idea if they were members of one of the groups, but if these groups want to stick around, and be treated with respect, they should do a little messaging of their own first, and find out if their actions are warranted or not. Otherwise it's called "Shoot first, ask questions later."

Ironically, they would be 'cyber-bullies' at that point.
That's not cyber-bullying. You hacked someone and were retaliated against, you should
expect that to happen when you take offensive action against another ship.
I really don't understand the mentality of people who want to hack/attack without retribution.
Pretend that you're walking down the street and you see a guy walking the other way. For no reason in particular you punch that guy in the face and keep walking. First thing is that guy comes after you and punches you in the face, then he calls his buddies out from the bar he just left and they all take turns punching you.
Why do you expect social rules to be different in Galaxy Legion? If you want to attack/hack/raid people, fine, but be ready to be attacked by their legion, repeatedly.
I didn't care the first time. But seriously, one hack for 67 research points, so you attack till the cows come home? That's just plain dumb. And, since I was never attacked by the guy I hacked, I had no idea WHAT the deal was. If I'd been attacked and disabled once, no biggie. In your analogy, I took one of his fries, and he had every right to punch me. But what he did was akin to getting his buddies at the bar to grab their bats and beat me senselessly (while he stood back) till I had to be rushed to the ER. In the real world, they get busted for assault, and pray I don't die so that they don't get busted for murder.
No one on this forum has any issue with a legion member helping out another. And sometimes, you have to take your blows. The real issue is that sometimes the revenge is so over-the-top that it makes it unfair for the unsuspecting victim who just thought using 'hack' (once) would be a good use of energy. Any player that repeatedly hacks another is up for their pounding, just as any player who repeatedly attacks, disables and raids another player is. But one time offenders shouldn't have to suffer for several days. Just hack them back, for crying out loud! And if you can't do that, disable them ONCE. And at the very least try to do it yourself before getting 20 other people to do it for you.
