I'm not sure if this is best served in issues and support or suggestions, but i'll keep it quick.

A question/concern about being able to contribute to the legion base:

to contribute to level 5 and lower legion bases required only researching the first tier of AI Logistics (98,000 research points). Contributions to a level 6 legion base requires Sub-Quantum Logistics to be researched. This is an additional 950,000 (10x what was originally needed to invest to help upgrade the base) research which is several weeks worth of research points for many of lower and mid-level ranked players.

Is it intended for there to be such a large jump between single levels of the legion base?

It would seem to me that 'increased research levels being required to contribute to higher leveled legion bases' could/should be more gated (ie smaller personal research investment needed for every level instead of large chuncks of personal research for random levels).

Yes, this is by design, although the required tiers may be adjusted later.

I'll leave commentary/suggestions for a seperate thread at a future date, but a more defined listing of what must be researched to contribute to legion bases of different levels would be greatly beneficial and appreicated.

If the requirements were adjusted I certainly hope those of us that have already completed the upper levels of research would get a refund of their RP.

Or leave it as is cuz it seems that level 7 and above only require same Dimension Logistic 1/3 to unlock then people are good to go for full-time contributions.. It helps to prevent multi-account legion as well by forcing all of them to waste RPs to unlock instead of using master player to unlock for all alts to contribute/construct their base. Bad idea.. I like current design. More than 50% Dysonians already unlocked Dimension Logistics and we are close to complete level 7 now and seems that level 8 would use same research requirement then rest is easy beyond 7 but just more resources to pour in.. That's all. Eventually more and more younger players would be able to unlock Dimension Logistics within this year enabling them to build base beyond level 7 as their legions get old enough to do it..
