Disabled after using Pacified Artifact????

I have a Pacification artifact in use and Ive been disabled twice. I wasnt hit with a containment missile or anything like that. How is my opponent getting around it? worse- i cant attack him back!

You can still be attacked if your attacker targets you from a planet you are guarding. This prevents those pacified from locking out their planet using this effect.

Ahhhhh...thats what I was doing- guarding a planet i took from him several days ago. Cool- I'll stop doing that. Thanks!

But it's possible only when the population of the planet you guard are ready to invade, no?

Yeah, you have to have the population beat down before you can target an enemy ship.
