The Guard defense bonus says 20% when you pick it as a profession... However, on the player screen it says 15% and it doesn't add into the defense when attacking another player.

I thought the guard bonus was when other people were attacking you? I thought it functioned like trinity-cores.

Trait: 20% extra defense against players

Trinity-Core Drive: increases total defense by 8% while being attacked by other ships.

Aerlen: have a 30% bonus to ship Defense.

Xecti: ships and planets receive a 40% boost to attack and defense when under attack or invasion.

To me it seems more like the Aerlen that the other two.

When you attack another player, you're not exactly defending, now are you?

Not exactly defending when you're attacking NPCs either.

It doesn't say that it's when you're defending, it says "against other players".

Regardless of if it is defending or attacking or both... it doesn't have it on the effect page nor is the % right from the profession page (trait) to the player page (trait).

It should show properly at 20% now.

the guard is not adding into the defense bonus at all even when I am being attacked, I just asked someone attacking me...
