I'm Inergon. And I noticed that with the 10% energy increase...it only counts towards your CURRENT maximum energy.

Now here's what I'm talking about.

I have 334 energy right now, but when i install 3 Wave Conduit for faster energy gains, along with the -90 energy from those, I ALSO lose an extra 10 energy because I lose that bonus.

Somehow this doesn't seem right to me. The bonus should go towards the maximum your ship has total. And not get pentalized just because you install soemthing that reduces it for a short time.

I am the same race as you in the game. Yes the 10% counts up and down. Have Conduit that has a penalty of -90 it takes off -99 for each one. Have a gen that adds +40 you get +44.

As your gen gets better the bonus starts counteracting the Conduit more and more.

I've done some math and found that the Inergon race does not provide a 10% increase to the recharge rate on relays/conduits. is it supposed to be like that or not?

Example:

Xconduit:

base speed-up recharge rate: 15 seconds

Inergon race increase: 16.5 seconds (don't know if it rounds up or down)

Inergon race doesn't provide that increase.

nope, just energy. otherwise we could be getting a 20-30 second recharge time. while that would be nice, it would be 'unfair'...

Yeah, just think of it as a 10% modifier to your energy. Easier to keep track that way.

Another thing to factor in is the fact that, as an Inergon, you can equip up to four gens at a time whilst other races can only hook up two or three.

What? Is that true?

Also, it only really matters what your max energy is when you level up, at which point you should uninstall your relays anyway.

Urban Legend. I was Inergon from the start until my deck requirements from NPC drops prompted a change to Sillix. A fourth reactor core would be very unbalancing considering the additional 10% race bonus. That's the same as giving a Kongul 3 extra gun mounts. There are several NPC dropped energy cores available though that don't count against the 3 max. If you see anyone with more than 3 researched cores, they are cheating.

hey, if konqul get 3 extra guns then we inergons need a 10% bonus to energy charge too... ;)

lol that movie was hilarious. DEFINITLY thought seth rogen was funny as an alien. and it had a great cast for the humans too. alot of funny ppl runnin around in that movie.
