a member of my legion got hit by one of these and it didn't do anything to him. yes I know I am reporting about something that benefited my legion member but it's still not exactly fair and that's what I'd like for this game to try and be.

It does have a short term effect, it reduces your max shields to a very small amount ( reduced mine to like 3 when I had it used on me) but this effect only lasts for 1 minute. After this effect wears off your sheilds return to normal. Basically it's used as a one-two punch. You hit them with the torp, then you have one minute to get through the players hulls for the kill. It's also a good combo to use with the chaostatic inhibitor, which stops your sheilds from regenerating for 4 hours. If the player hit your legion mate with a K torp but didn't follow up with an attack, then it realy was just a waste of a torp.

well that's the thing, he got hit with it, and didn't get attacked, so he took no damage of any kind. he posted in chatter that it said he got hit with one, but his shields weren't dropped like they should have been.

They probably did he just didn't notice it. If he has the same issue with the game as I do, my screen doesn't show anything except for only when it refreshes. I can get hit attacked, even dissabled and not even know it until I cursor over the screen or hit a tab button to make it refresh then the alerts will pop up. But yes, if they didn't actually attack him, he doesn't actually suffer any other consequences from it. It was a waste of a torp.

well I got hit with some krionite torpedoes earlier and they worked on me just fine. and my computer was even acting up too, not showing crap until it was too late for me to do anything about it.
