A few days ago, I fluxed a planet and then used a Xecti Pathway Detector. Earlier today, that planet was conquered. According to my log, someone scanned it and triggered the trap, and then about 5 hours later that person and another person from their legion used some artifacts on it and conquered it. One of three things is the case:
1) Both of these people happened to scan this planet in the past few days. Highly improbable.
2) There's a bug with the trap, such that the person who scanned the planet was able to share it with their legion 5 hours later.
3) The description of the trap is inaccurate.

Xecti Pathway Detector description wrote: The next time the planet is scanned or viewed by an enemy, it will notify only its owner, and prevent enemies from alerting it for 24 hours. either both of them scanned the planet in that 5-hour timeframe (even more improbable)... or the alert prevention didn't work definitely an issue for Dan... might want to send an in-game msg... if you're lucky he can at least give you a replacement trap, and hopefully even clone/replace the planet for you... (hopefully he can track down the bug too, and fix the trap so it works properly)

Yeah, somebody mentioned this happening, you should use the in-game support.

Happened to me today, lost a fantastic Plasma because of it. As you can see This planet would have never been taken had the Xecti Pathway worked like it should have. All 4 of these players are from the same legion and without the massive amount of arts used this planet would still be under my control, as obviously "Teneka" failed. If Dan just gives me a comparable planet minus the arts that was on this thing, honestly I am going to be pissed. This thing was bricked with great arts and should have never been taken had the Xeti done what it was supposed to do. Things like Domain Walkers aren't cheap to make, so it's not just the planet, I can honestly make another plasma in time, but some of the arts and such on it are irreplaceable.

Apologies for any errors experienced with the artifact. We are looking into this.

If you do not see the notification in your planet filter, please check if it appears elsewhere or without the filter applied ( when viewing your logs )

I had The same issue. Suddenly My best planet was under attacked and then taken by a whole legion. Apparently the planet was scanned weeks ago but the detector never went off. I've reported it.
