The game runs normal with the exception of two things. The frist one is i will be going along clicking and then the buttons do not register my clicks, so i just F5 and it is all good. The second one though has made me frustrated to a point where you can not imagine. Every time, and i mean every time, no matter the computer, that i go to the planet tab and do anything related to planets, it always pops up with an error saying that a script has stopped running. This causes things to be very cumbersome and run very slowly. I usually just choose stop script with the chance that it will lock the computer or cause the computer to freeze, though it never has. Does anyone have any ideas?

what browser are you using? (sounds like I.E., judging from the issue, in which case i'd suggest switching to chrome or firefox) and how many scanned planets do you have?

I use FireFox, and i get the same issue with the planets tab, wherein it will freeze up when i switch to that tab and also when i invade a planet.
I've got over 700 planets on scan, and this is obviously where the issue lies, as when i had just under 300 planets the screen never froze up and i could take a planet and flux it in 3 seconds. As of right now it takes me 10 seconds to do so, as thats how long it takes for the browser to unfreeze.

Yes, i do use IE. Have never used anything else. Never had the ambition to change because our college things online only work with IE.
As for how many planets, i have around 375 scanned and am rank 172.
"As of right now it takes me 10 seconds to do so, as thats how long it takes for the browser to unfreeze."-sounds like mine.
But does anyone have the script message pop up?
BTW, thanks for the timely responses guys. Appreciated.

of the three main browsers, IE is the slowest so it is only natural that you're getting the javascript timeout message...
as the number of planets in your list grows, the planet tab gets slower and slower to load because all the planets you've scanned are loaded into memory
I can only assume since you state your college thinks online only works with IE, that you might not have a computer of your own and are using campus computers to access facebook (in which case i don't have any suggestions for you)... if you have a computer of your own, or at least one you are authorized to install things on, definitely try other browsers

What's up with the new planet window opening? There's a little pic that enlarges when you run your mouse over it.

Yes, you see, when you're not on the forums all day like some people who don't have anything to do on the weekends, the November update is on the 4th page of new posts ... so yes .... please forgive me for having a life.

Maybe I should just troll and post in every thread just to put in my opinion Lone.Lycan Posts: 2592 DariousTheDark Posts: 744 and the bulk of mine are in my own thread. I don't need to read every post on the forum and post in it, or make a frivolous post to make it seem that I'm smarter than most here, because I don't need to

I switched to chrome, and everything is running just like when i first started playing the game. Took me 30seconds to do what took me what seemed like 5 to 10 minutes last week. Thx a bunch for all the help.

IE 7 and 8 run Javascript MUCH slower than the newer browsers, by a huge factor. While we do as much as we can to support them, you will find a much better gaming experience by using a modern browser (IE9, Firefox, Chrome, or Opera). Not just for Galaxy Legion, but most new applications in general.
