There is a bug in Barrier Nexus. When it is built on a planet, it will shows the 24-hours timer on the Colony tab (hover over the GREEN defense to display the effect) as the Effect tab said the defense effect is permanent (no timer). It's just a harmless bug to be fixed easily.
