Do other members have this problem ?. Is it a bug in the game?. But nearly every time I play, particulary in the 'Battle' the game will freeze, also freezing the whole internet page. Requiring me to re-log onto the internet and restart the game. This is annoying as if I am half way through a battle I retain the hits taken etc but the opponant is removed so I do not get any awards for that combat.

I've never heard of this problem before, and it's running fine for me (Other than it running a bit on the slow side compared to normal). Still, it could be the game at fault, but it could also be any number of things.

What browser are you using? Is it the latest version?
What operating system are you using? Does it have the latest patches?
Have you tried turning off your browser plugins to make sure they're not the cause?
Are Flash, Java etc all up-to-date?
Have you checked for any security problems? It could be malware or a firewall glitch.

You mention that you need to restart your internet as well...

Have you tried rebooting your router?
Does your router have the latest firmware?
Have you checked with your ISP that they aren't having any problems?

i've noticed a few issues with the site today being extremely slow, and even requiring a few page refreshes
gets annoying during battles..

Yes, it happens to me even in battle when my hourly Production kicks in.

I am using Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP Family Edition and the same happens to me most of the time.

Actually this seems similar to the game behaviour that I was getting just a few days before before I found myself totally unable to play. The screen would refresh and boot me off the game and back to the loading page. Now, for a brief millisecond, provided I do not blink I get to see the loading msg and nothing else.

Yeah, i have this problem with Explorer 9 periodically. You're trying to shoot at something, or claim resources, and it just stops working. Have to refresh to get it to work right again. I recently installed Chrome to see if that helps, and it does.
