A legion leader went nuts and kicked the whole legion out. I had been for months building up the base for the legion. When I started my own legion, it says "Cannot Upgrade. You have contributed to a different base in the past week."

I am not sure why this rule is in place, but it really sucks for those of us, who just want to be in a legion and build a base and can't because of someone else's behavior.

How long do I have to wait and why?

1 week from the last time you gave to another base , like it says.

This is to keep high rank people from legion hopping and artificially upgrading bases.

though it won't really stop them.. just slow them down

well if he went nuts, try and make him snap, crackle, and pop.
if you put in that much energy, tech parts, and exotic matter only to be kicked out, ask for it all back.

He's sitting there at level 31, just taking all the Research and artifacts from the base me another built. He and his 4 other duplicates are the only people in the legion.

He won't reply to any communications, I try to disable him too, but says he's out of range.

report him to Dan and ask him if you can get put back as leader

Invest in base ONLY if you trust your own legion especially leaders is your best defense..

Dysonians are so generous in base investment and legion itself all cuz they have utmost trust in their administration. I never ever will betray them as I proved myself over 1 year of leading them that I never been viewed as a selfish person and I made sure that officers are in same way: Trusting and unselfish bunch.. That sends strong message to rest of the members that they can trust us.. In turn, they are far more willing to invest so much in our legion.. It's a blessing. Really.

I suggest that if you really want to invest heavily in your own legion, be sure to join a right, trusting legion FIRST with solid reputation then you are in for good future..

I don't trust Nocifer but he's right about joining A well established legion its safer.
