A legion mate wants to reset but doesn't want to loose his 3x planet. So i was wondering.... Can he alert the planet reset then colonize the planet afterwards? |

I don't think it is. When one of my friends tried this they got the 'This planet is no longer within your scanning range' message. |

Alert the planet. Abandon the Planet Let someone in the legion take the planet. Or... Alert the planet. Leave the legion. Kill it's defenses. Let someone in the legion take the planet. Then, reset. And have the current owner do the same thing, giving it back to the person who reset. |

the alerts dont work when you leave, but you remain in the legion once you reset. I dont know if that means the scan will still work though. Ask a multi-accounter, they're easy to find. |

The second one only works if they've scanned the planet too, because the alert disappears when you leave the Legion. |

just wondering, if someone guards a planet, then it drops off their scans, can you use that as a back door to re-find that planet. If so: alert the planet and have someone guard it leave the legion the guard then takes the planet you restart re-join the legion the current owner re-alerts the planet you guard it and leave the legion take the planet yourself then re-join the legion. |

yeah, I don't want to tell everyone how to cheat. I'm trying to find Dan's profile to PM him. it might not work and it should be very easy to fix if it does. I think it's complicated enough that people won't figure it out. |
