im just curious when do you make that transition from being average or low ranked to high ranked my guess would be at rank 250 but im not sure

well, the official end of new content is 300, but high rank is relative... read the post in the pub about it... kaos made a great point about how its your play style that defines when you make the transition. not so much your level...

I'd say you start at 400 or 500 and that's more of a middle rank and high rank is really 600 and up.

I agree with common wealth, but mainly to me it depends on your level, i was level 25 and 100 were high rankers to me, now im 127 and likr 800+ are to me now because i realize that around their you complete almost everything

That's somewhat true, but he was referring to what makes an "elite" player I believe; high-rank is an important distinction because the challenges change with your actual rank.

I would say 300 is high rank, for the reason Vekno stated, and 600 is really high rank, because that's when a number of NPCs end.

Personally this is how I see it. Take the highest level and divid his level in half. That is the current mid level, so if you are above that you are a high ranker if you are below that you are not. Which also put that point right now at 725.

But it is also in the book of. If you feel like a big guy then there might be a chance you are lol.

Dividing the current highest rank in half is definitely not a good way to determine mid rank. The number of people in the game skews the rank distribution to lower ranks, so while half of the highest rank is 725, there are only 26 players in the game who's rank is greater than 725.

lol i suppose you could take the average of all 87000 players to find a mid level player. but odds are thats gonna be around rank 40.

If you wanted to define it statistically I would say anyone in the upper quartile or higher would qualify. I don’t have the info to calculate it.
Otherwise I would say it is when your rank qualifies you for all the game features. The highest rank npc that I found on the wiki is 500.
I would think 400 would be a good estimate for high rank.

Edit: you could collect all the rank information from all the player in all the legions then do some analysis. Just taking the rank score from the to 50 legions and dividing by 2500 (assumes an average of 50 players per legion) you get an average rank 231.
