Hypothetically, let's say the base rules for resource division is % contributed.

Player A contributes 15% to the base, leaves, and comes back again.

Player B contributes 15% to the base, leaves, and never comes back.

How would resource division be distributed?

Does Player A still get 15% of the resources, or does he start over? Does player B get exempted from receiving resources?

if it's set for even distribution across all legion members..... it won't matter... as long as you've been in the legion for 24 hours, you get a share equal to 1 / # of legion members that have been there for longer than 24 hours...


if it's set for distribution based on contribution...... player B's share is distributed proportionally to everyone else like this:

player A has 15% current contribution and is still in legion
player B has 15% current contribution but left legion
players C-Z have the remaining 70%, in various amounts... and are still in the legion

since player B is gone, total percentage is now only 85%....

so player A's cut is adjusted like this... 15% * 100% / 85%.... it'll show as 17.647058823529411% (give or take a few decimal places) when they click the claim button
and players C-Z get adjusted by 100/85 as well...

Player A - 15% and stays
Player B - 15% and leaves (The display will still show player B's 15% but it no longer counts towards distribution. Which makes it kinda confusing because it throws off the percentage shown.)

The base will still put out 100% no matter how u divide it
Split by %
Player A - 15%
Everyone else - 85% split

Split evenly
100% divided by # of eligible players in legion

player A showing as 15% in the window gets 17.647058823529411% when they click the claim button (assuming the sum of all players that left added up to exactly 15%)... it's 15% of the total of all the people that are eligible for a slice, but you don't get to see what the adjusted percentage is until it's claimed
