Currently rank 176 with 863 decks. When I rank I put 4 points into decks and one into TOs. I was just wondering at what point I should stop putting my rank points into decks and fully into TOs and Engineers?
AP is at 3053 with another 50k everyday from legion shipment.

depends on how many Ship-Bot you pick up and what build you want to do
but basickly even if you are going for a max deck build, decks max out around 6000, then you will have nothing left to put on them - so the soner you start only adding decks with Ship-Bot, and spending ALL rank points on Engineers + Tactical Officers the better

Rank 1. Sooner or later you're going to wish for all those RP back. Ship-bots are your friends.

Right away. rank points should only be spent on decks when you have urgent need of more such as to fit all your scanners on for a scan run and even with all your other modules removed its still to small.

My slightly longer version - decks from bots only will be tougher for a while. You will have to be pickier about what you install, and do more gymnastics to equip your ship for different tasks. However, bots eventually become surplus for every player, and rank points are never surplus. So every deck from rank point (I put a lot of points into decks early on too, so this is a personal experience thing) is eventually a loss of a rank point.

Alright as the resounding majority say stop spending them into decks, I shall solely rely on ship bots for decks. Thanks for the replies

If I had your ship size and AP production, I'd have switched over to ship-bot-only at 700.
But I don't agree with going bots from the get-go, even if you join a super-powerful arti legion, because at least for me, there is like, zero breathing room on your ship with less tha 450 decks. I don't have the patience for it, and a ship-bot-only policy from Levels 1-100 would drive me absofrikkenlutely insane. If you're bothered by missing out on rank points for TOs and Engineers, just take a week or two off from the game except for artifact pulls, and you'll rescue a lot of 'em back.

Agreed with Pongoloid, put points into decks until it's not excruciating - a couple hundred points won't make a big difference in the long run. I even added points to cargo at first to get it to 500 - enough that I could function. Haven't added a point to cargo since and now have over 100k

AP is at 3053 with another 50k everyday from legion shipment. I say based on your info, you probably still need to use RP for your deck within the next 100 rank. I agree with Pongoloid & Toastar, ...long run won't make a huge different. Think of it this way, how long you think it's gonna take you to collect 2500 ship-bots at the rate you are gaining in AP? If your deck is too low in the beginning stage, then you probably weak in strength. Unless you willing to freeze rank for several weeks/months Compare Info: I stop putting rank pts into my deck when reached "Star Destroyer" passing 2k deck at rank 250 i think?! Hope this help!

I see where the logic of not using rank points on decks is coming from but at the same time Ship-Bots don't become redundant for a while, depending on your ship-build/growth of your arti production of course. So i'd say keep the amount of decks you get through rank points as low as you can but not low to the point where the game isn't enjoyable to play as you have no space to move around.

Yo Duff. Make sure you use lazuli parts vaults when you can instead of ship-bots.

I think with the current AP along with the legion shipment that I get, I could do the ship-bots only build as I'm pulling around 2 ship-bots a day which already makes up for the four rank point that used to go into decks. jimjimtata wrote: Yo Duff. And btw thanks for not disabling me a few days ago when I was on your BT and instead sending me a nice comm message :p
