I was just wondering, who's got a dyson sphere in their empire? I know that they're super rare and have special names, and I was just wondering how many of them there are and how many have been discovered. I've had the amazing luck to stumble upon one and had to invade it with the help of a legion friend. A different legion friend, however, told me that the one I found was a "game" planet, meaning that it was associated with a mission. Is this true? And if so, will my planet be forever taken away from me? Dear God I hope not...

It was probably the mission Dyson, there are only I think 9 in all GL out of 300000 planets.

No, I dont know what it was called, but there is a mission that makes you find a Dyson when you finish, it is exactly like Exotica mission but it makes you find a Dyson

I guess I'm just not high enough level to know about this; are all the missions on wiki?

Other than the 4 missions I added myself, only one more mission is on the wiki.

Hmm, so it's Collossal project that makes you "find" Dyson instead of creating one exactly the same way as Terra Project does? I saw that it uses 10 quasi-expanders (it was added recently) and I would assume that it would allow you to convert any junk planet into a Dyson due to the price of 10 quasi-expanders? It would suck if it only let you to find a well-defended Dyson planet that would simply get fluxed away from your database then good-bye to 10 expanders into voidness..

The game will get a bigger server not another one along side this one. We will all stay in the same happy galaxy together.

I like huge galaxy with 1 server like Eve Online. It creates single huge community instead of fragmented communities.. I'm glad that GL doesn't follow evony.. It's too easy to add stars to scale to player base compared to evony on fixed map..

OMG! Dude, do you still play EVE Online? I'm in that game too! Ultimate Sci-Fi MMO to date... Blows STO out of the water... not that I even bothered trying it cause there is no other MMO that comes close to the amount of content it offers.

I own two metal planets, I am not getting enough artifact points to every now and then make an expander. All I need is the mission, might save up any expanders I get just so I do not need wait longer. Though I need to get threw the terraform mission first.

Neat. theres one called core of darkness too.... stats on that were 35x mining, 10x artifacts 20x research. i guess dyson spheres have the same number of x's in different configurations. i've yet to see one with 40x though.
