Intra Colliders. Mark 3 to Mark 4 is 15 (57)more energy. Is it worth the materials and credits to upgrade to them.

My thinking is skip it get the Wormhole and next tier energy core.

What your thoughts?

Personally, I only upgraded from Mark 4 to Mark 4. The cost vs benefit is just not there for me. It takes a while but I always felt betting investing a lot of money and seeing a big change.

I generally go on the even marks (2 and 4) but with I-Ds I did mk3 because other research needed done (guns anybody?). I don't intend to use ID4's though, and just skip to mk2 on the next tier. I'm not close enough to the perpetual-level threshhold so the extra 175 xp that energy would gain me isn't really worth the cost.

Unless you can get through the relay research quickly you probably should get the Mk. IV. Until the very highest tiers I upgraded at every rank, but if you can't then you won't miss out too much. To me, every little bit of energy is worth it if you can afford it.

Similarly i'd say that stepping your upgrading is better since you gain strength for your level the more you "camp" it?
