Posting the working version of the new, revamped ShipBuilder to get some feedback and work on anything that causes people problems.
Looks much more complex than it really is...
Basically, fill in the orange squares at the top, add your modules then use the hull/shield calculators on the right hand side so ShipBuilder can work out your hull and shield from arti and prompt you to input those figures.
Up to date in terms of modules, allies, abilities and effects, up to and including Raix-Radiated Plating and Q-Pedd Emotion Simulator
...depending on what stuff I've missed at this stage
Still missing upkeep on a very few smaller modules. Please give me a yell if you notice anything missing.
Main differences from the old version, apart from a heap of new modules and allies since then are:
- A big list of buffs you can activate/deactivate that are available to your ship based on what is installed and online
- Ability to specify online and offline modules so upkeep is accurate and it provides an exact snapshot of your ship at a given moment in time
- Ability to calculate hull and shield from artifacts based on your race/profession and modules installed, so race changes to and from Litheor, Fixer, Physicist etc will be accurately reflected
- ...and a heap more little things that are largely boring
You will need a Google Account and New Google Sheets to edit, as it has some functionality only available in the new version.
You can opt-out of New Google Sheets afterwards if you like/need.
Just make a copy (which will save it to your Google Drive) and you should be right to go from there.
Hope someone finds it vaguely useful, I used the old version heaps to plan stuff early on and have been missing that for a while now.
