Hey all you beautiful people of Galaxy Legion! When someone takes your planet, do you tend to share them and bash them as a legion? If someone takes a planet from you and said legion bashing occurs, do you fight back? I usually try to get my planet back. Sometimes I may fight the thief, it depends on a few things I imagine. Lately tho I've been lucky and planets have been stolen that I wanted someone to take. Then again, I have no really great planets anymore because they were stolen last year. A 6x arti, vl Gaia. And an 8x arti, I believe that was a Gaia too. I will not take anything larger than 5 now, those seem safe. lolol. though I think I did lose a 5x as well. Probably a couple. I feel since planet stealing is part of the game, why bother fighting the person who took it. Unless it is a decent planet that I cannot get back, then maybe I will plug you and have my legion do the same. If I take a planet I take the punishment, mainly because it's an alright planet by someone higher level than me. lol. But some folks don't take the punishment, they will fight back as hard as they can and sometimes even share you with their legion, even if they took your planet. What do you do? Do you fight back or not when you have stolen a planet?

Do you fight back or not when you have stolen a planet? If someone takes a planet i own, i'll disable them no matter their rank, and grab at least one raid and one hack. If they're above rank 3-400, then i'll zero them. If a planet thief has more actions than i can take, then i will alert them, but if i can zero them on my own, i do just that, and save my alert for better purposes. Now, if i steal a planet and i get attacked/zero'd in retaliation for doing so, then if any of the perpetrator's are within my badge range i will disable/raid/hack them back, but i won't return any zero'ing they may have done. I'll keep this up for so long as they keep disabling me, on a strict "eye for an eye" level.

If someone takes your planet don't alert them. Alert the planet, that way any legionmates who want to try to take it back can and any of the invaders that attack them can be hit then also.

If I steal a planet I expect to be zeroed. I do not fight them back for the 2 days.
I will zero thieves that steal anything really good and keep doing so for the 2 days they are on my feed. After they drop off they are just a normal badge target if im pvping.
If they fight back in the 2 day period I extend the 2 days until they drop off.
For the people that help they would normally be killed just the 1 time.
If the planet isn't anything special I would just let it go and purge for them.
More often than not there is very little retaliation and that is just a bonus.

Before the new badge stuff came out, I would usually just zero them myself unless TM locked or they were too difficult for me to raid. Now with the high badge requirements, I tend to share badgeable planet thieves with my legion. SirStinker wrote: I usually try to get my planet back. If someone takes my worst planets, I would of course let them keep it, but I have a tendency of taking back mediocre planet due to wanting green badges. I am "footballing" a few planets (a couple of maxed Toxics and a VL Terra), since neither I nor the thief are dumb enough to brick or flux them. I am also zeroing them most of the time they take the planet back, so I do not really see my "footballing" the "exploit" that traditional football planets are considered to be. (Granted, I barely care if other people are using "football planets" or not anyway, since I have better things to do with my time than be on an ethics committee.) SirStinker wrote: Sometimes I may fight the thief, it depends on a few things I imagine. More than not, throughout my Galaxy Legion career, I have zeroed (or at least hack zeroed in the case of someone I could not raid) planet thieves regardless of comparable rank or strength. I also do not care if they are significantly lower ranked than I, since I assume they decided to put their big-boy/girl pants on that day. Oh, and that applies to anyone who sneezes at my planets, so failed planet thieves, sabs, and any other helper get the same treatment the planet thief gets. Do you fight back or not when you have stolen a planet? Regardless of rank, if I take someone else's planet, I will "take my punishment" so to speak, since generally, planets I take are usually decent or was stripped of good artifacts. (Granted, I have to realize the actions are in retaliation, since I have a tendency not to pay attention to what I am doing or who I am taking planets from.) I figure everyone, low ranks included, has the right to some retaliation (like zeroing my hacks or whatever else they feel like doing in-game to my ship within 48 hours). The only exception off the top of my head is if they took the planet off of me to begin with. Planet thieves fighting back are one of the few things that will get me really violent. Generally, I mostly just hunt badges, but if a planet thief or helpers fight back, particularly if I get alerted, I generally go wild on their entire legion. In the worse case, I was in a non-leaderboard legion, and a top ten legion's planet thief decided to alert me, so I zeroed the thieves and helpers for 48 hours, knocked off about 10/14 Exotica defenders (another legion wiped out the remaining defenders and took Exotica), and after everyone backed down except for one leader, kept zeroing the last ship's hacks for a couple of days (he was much stronger than me at the time). In short, I do not believe I should let anyone kick the crap out of me for defending my stuff. In any case, that is my not so short take on planet theft and PvPing.

Simple: Assuming you might want it back. If you do nothing, the person who took it is more likely to forget about you, or assume the theft wasn't noticed. Or that you are inactive. Some people think that if there is no retaliation, then the owner must be out of the picture. Then wait a bit, for their upgrades. Then show up to get it back... I don't bother hitting back on invades of crappy planets, if I'm glad to be rid of it, then thanks are in order. Assuming that there isn't anything significant in it for me to try...

Depend on the circumstances really..... generally speaking, yes, I will hit back and disable and zero. But recently I lost 2 while on holiday and I was only on my phone. 1 was a massive oceanic, VR, the other a maxed toxic. Both are defended to the point where it would not be energy efficient to get them back (especially the toxic, which is bricked big time??) and both other ships are 3-400 ranks above me. Yes, I could disable them, but to me it's not worth the effort, so I've just left it. And no, I didn't consider alerting them, again I don't see the point.
When I steal, I expect to be at least disabled and bagded, and more, I just take my medicine!!
