How can I improve my ship?

Post subject:  How can I improve my ship?
In recent weeks, I've levelled so quickly that I've become underpowered for my rank. Now, it's almost impossible for me to disable other ships. Is there a way to recover and get back on track to having a powerful ship again?

My stats:
Rank: 195
Attack: 1670
Defence: 728
Deck: 524
Hull: 6700
Shields: 375
Energy: 1050

I'm a Konqul Fixer

So, what should I be focussing on mainly? Help appreciated, thanks :)

Raise your stats.

Seriously. This might seem like "no shiz" advice, but it's the truth. Get your artifact production as high as possible, and you'll grow stronger quicker. If you want to catch up to those your rank, just rank up slower than you currently are.

Oh. And swap the Surge Plexuses for a researched energy core, if you have them available.

I have 4k artifact per hour right now

But I guess that's the best option... It's a long and tedious process but I guess I have to deal with it lol

Any other advice is welcome

Get your defense up. Also, you can get your numbers up by building more modules, but I'm guessing you don't have the deck space.
