Just wondering. How much dose size matter to you?? The biger you are the more damage you take. I have nearly 7k decks. I like the eassy of it. not having to switch mods . not being able to get hacked with out needed 1 or 2 flares used on me. How ever this is a draw back to it. the damage capt. I also know many of you msb witch I do wonder if I should have tried this. little mod switching and still a good build. there is Also SSB. proving its not the size that counts the how you use it. some thing i dont like my self as i rank it would become less and less powerful. But after talking if some of my legion mates i have wondered alot about peoples take on each one. So what did you pick. what rank are you. and how do you like your build. |

Size Class: Star Destroyer Space: 2088 / 2100 Attack: 11187 Defense: 10898 Scan: 401 Cloak: 957 Size matters very much to me. ![]() This is a slight modification to my standard configuration. I usually have 12K unbuffed defense, and 8K buffed attack. I've currently a Crimson Amplifier on attack. Although when it comes to hacking, bleghwjofhang. Don't even go der. ![]() |

I am a strict SSB, so space is massively important to me. I like knowing exactly how much it will take to kill me. I am currently working on getting mods that give percentage boosts, as well as allies and a few mission completion rewards for the bonus for no space mods. |

Me? I don't care much. I was going for SSB originally, but I know have about 40 decks too many for that... Still, the extra energy I get out of that helps. I plan t eventually have enough decks to have all modules on at once, as I hate having to toggle modes. But I want to get Anubix first. |

rank : 1094 Space: 6645 / 6645 i always hated switching out mods so i just kept adding decks until i could hold everything. i'm not a heavy pvp'er so the damage cap thing doesn't bother me that much . |

Rank 560 Space: 2997 / 3000 I have too many decks for my liking but it can't be undone. Decided I wanted a small ship too late to change it. Nativity got the better of me at lower ranks. But I figure come about 800+ I might be classed as somewhat of an SSB with just a cap of 1500 |

Rank 517 Space: 1697/1697 Attack: 12216 unbuffed Space is very important to me. It just makes me happy to know how much energy people spent disabling me. Plus EMPs don't phase me ![]() |

Rank 268 with 804 decks, which is smaller than is typical at my rank except for the SSB specialists. I hate the constant switching out of mods and repairing them, but i am saving for the Anubix and as much as I hate the swapping I want to keep the damage cap low as I will go on a PVP spree at some stage to get the rest of the Red badges I need. Once that is done then I'll look at increasing decks again. |

Size only matters for those that feel the need to prove something with it. As long as you are satisfied with your size, then it does not matter. (kay, now I'm actually going to bed ![]() |

Not a pvper so my space will be as much as it has to be. |

rank 360, decks 2150, but now that I have Anubix this will be going up and up (with bots only). I don't care if it makes me easier to kill, rather not have to switch all the time and makes hitting other things much easier with higher attack and scan. |

22jul2012: 390 decks (up from 368 decksa month earlier) - rank 95 15apr2013: 404 decks (was 399 from sept to nov ... 404 since 14dec) - rank 242 > also did my first true auto-rank tonight ... no refills, no xp buffs ... even had 50 energy left over aiming to be true SSB at rank 385. i like the challenge of optimizing my builds for the decks that i have. i expect to have anubix in a few weeks and will aim for vortov after that. |

I have 4402 decks at rank 760, (I stopped adding decks a long time ago) at this point its a hard decision whether or not to stay here or just keep adding the decks but even at these decks it has its benefits. Having 4402 decks may not stop rank 1k+s hitting me with a damage cap of 2201 but it makes fighting those heavy attack bases a hell of a lot easier on my nanos and restorers. I am finding this thread very interesting as I am interested on peoples thoughts on decks. Have thought about creating one of those 'hows my ship things' hahah but don't know if anyone would be interested. |

a Dam cap of 1200 has been pretty beneficial, gives me a lot more staying power. It drives me insane though switching mods |

2049 decks works well for me. I honestly do wish i had stopped at 1985 though, my original pick. It would have been nice for people to never be able to deal 4 digits of damage to me :p |

I had to uninstall and install my modules a lot when I was smaller as we all did. I hated it and do not care if I give up some small advantage of being small. Having all the modules I can have installed just makes things easier for me |

for the first 125 ranks of the game I was a strict ssb. I started to get frustrated around rank 75. Not necessarily because I had to switch mods... but because I couldn't scan worth a damn. around rank 100 I started to wonder if it was worth it- I really rank too quickly for the ssb to be worth it. When I hit rank 125 I started adding decks. The transition period was a little awkward. I got disabled a bit more while I was adding the first 200 decks or so. Things are a lot better now. I PvP randomly, no real love OR hate for it. I like to keep things interesting and do a fairly even mixture of missions to NPCs with bases and PvP thrown in there. Right now I'm at 1375 decks at rank 255. I am only adding decks via shipbots and parts vaults right now as I am researching +12s so I have no need for adding more decks. Even when that is finished I'll only add a few more decks to fit my ferm plating on. btw, attack is roughly 4800, defense is 4900. over 10k hull and closing in on 10:1 energy ratio. |
