How Am I Doing? Rank 248!

So I got bored again and I decided to make one of these. If you want to see my old ship log, you can Click HereI was wondering what I should research next, right now I am researching "Exergonic Inversion" and I wasn't sure what I need more: Weapons, Energy (I have 2045 Max Energy), or Hulls.Well, without further ado, here are my ship stats!      My Cloak is 423 (and growing)   I know I need to get my crew up (all Rank Points are going into either Engineers or Tactical Officers). Also, I would like to what you guys do when adding Rescued Prisoners to your ship, do you do 2 into Engineers and 1 into Tactical Officers or 1 into Engineers and 2 into Tactical Officers? Thanks! You really need RP into TO/Engineers. I try to maintain a 10x energy:rank ratio, so all RP from ranking go into engineers; all RP from prisoners go into TO. However, this is also because I have a 10x ratio in the first place and my TO's are lacking. I'd say do 2 TO: 1 engineer until like 2500 engineers; then go to 4 TO: 1 engineer, etc. You want it to fit your playing style.
Research-wise, consider finishing Syncopated Platings and then possibly go into Supernovae (if you can afford them). Try to aim for like 10k APH (high is always better), 8k research, and like 7.5k mining by rank 300 --- I'm rank 473 and I have 15k APH (pretty low for my rank) but only 7.5k mining, which I've had since about rank 350. After a while, mining becomes fairly unneeded and you can keep it at a standard level, enough to pay your upkeep (mine is 2.4B) and keep a nice stash of credits.

I'll do what you said about the RP from ranking and Rescued Prisoners, it seems like a good plan!  Also, I forgot to mention this but I am going to be doing the Kronyn chain very soon so my research will go up. I'm planning to sell the RP planets for CTP to buy AP planets (is that stupid, idk) and since I don't really mind spending a bit for this game, I could make some CTP off selling GP things. I'll also be abandoning all volcanics I've taken in my early career, so that gives me 4 open slots for 16x toxics (5 if I should abandon my first ever Demon. Massive Ultra Rich)

Abandoning the volcanics for toxics is a good idea, just remember to keep one to make a demon if you haven't already. In terms of your Rank Points, I would put most of them into TO's, but that is maybe just me. If your play-style is killing lots of things, then I'd go for TO's (and research hull and weapons), if your more into doing missions, then engineers,( and if this is the case I'd research Supernova's next).
I like all the GP too, I'm jealous!!

Sucks that you only have that much ap/h with that much GP used/have.

Good ship overall, but you need more TOs. A little more energy from reactors would be good if you can afford it.
