On the 3rd mission of The Xathe Vortex members are required to use a Xathe Scan Overlay on a Blue Gas planet scanned in the last 5 minutes. I chose a different task, but I'm curious if multiple members can use the Scan Overlay on the same planet? And if so, would credit be awarded for use on a recently alerted planet?
Not advocating this method, just curious given the similar loophole available for leveling the Bane ally.

Not advocating this method, just curious given the similar loophole available for leveling the Bane ally. Doesn't work, has been tested by another legion and member failed their task due to trying.

Credit isn't awarded for alerted planets either, has to be recently scanned by the player doing the mission

Used to be you could use a football, purge it after it is stolen and you alert it, and receive credit again the next day as if it is a newly scanned world. Again not advocating, just checking to see if this is still the case since our legion doesn't use a football.

One of my legionmates reported not getting credit when he tried to do something similar.
