Is having 8K scans at my rank a lot? I do seem to have a lot more than others in my rank range.

Pure comparison. Not sure why the image is so bad quality. Perhaps I'm nearing my IMGUR limit.

Yes, yes it does. It just seems really excessive.

eh. each time you scan adds to the count. doesnt matter if you fail most of the time to find a planet.
my guess would be that you go till the button greys out more often than others, and/or do smaller scan runs more often without purging many planets.

Yeah, I know. I scan, like I said to TB, once or twice per week and scan 10-20 new planets.

You realize how much more efficient it is to wait until you can scan 100 or so?

Yes, I do, but it's also efficient to scan when you can if you're close to ranking and only have space for a few planets. I usually have lots of energy to burn, so I burn it.

2427 scans at rank 136. Im pretty sure I've more scans performed than most people my rank.

I have done 1215 scans at rank 181. I will update this tomorrow.

I usually go until either (a) scan button is greyed out, or (b) I'm approaching greyed out and can't be bothered refilling energy. And I usually get impatient waiting for my next scan blitz and do it a little earlier than planned.

I do scan weekly and burn up few hundreds of my star chart plungers, trying to bring in fresh good planets for my members and also help my Apparitious, Bane Familiar. Yup! I do get a lot of failed scan but that usually it's because I have too many extra energy before next rank up

rank 397, done 1567 scans lol. I only scan when i have space to scan about 150 more probably not frequently enough but i seem to be doing ok anyway!

Scans Performed 50404 kinda low for my rank but i have been lazy!

Now I have done 2039 at rank 183.

11,200 scans. I go on big scan runs (300+ planets) and just scan until the button turns grey.
