Stats

Decks: 1417/1425
Player Kills: 517
Deaths: 198
Atk: 3.1k
Def: 2.4k
Energy: 1.4k
Rank: 220
Hull: close to 7k
Shield: 1.4k
Daily Income: around 700m due to many mining planets(Note: I can't collect it every day)
Daily Upkeep: 400m
Research: 2.2k
Arti: 1.5k

My problem: I need to improve my attack and hull without greatly increasing my upkeep because i have 8 Hv Antiprotons and 4 Deep Core Neutroniums plus 1 Fermionic Plating. Upgrading these modules would cause my upkeep to skyrocket.

Additional Info: For the last 30 ranks, I have been focusing on improving energy instead of atk due to upkeep costs. As a result, I now have 2 Intra-D IIIs and one Intra-D IV which contributes to the upkeep problem. Also, I have many free slots for colonizing planets. If I wanted to, I could install Perfect Fermionics and Null Rays.

Are you hitting NPCs a lot? Blade harvesters drop toxic purifiers that can increase your mining quite a bit.

What level of fermionics do you have? If its the first, downgrade to deep core neutronium for now. The gain in hull isn't really worth the upkeep if you can't afford it, and there are NPCs like Korteth and the Silthion things (the ones that drop the platings from the missions, I think), that can give you the hull you want for less upkeep.

Also, boost your artifact production. More artifacts = more prisoners that you can put into tactical officers and engineers for attack and energy (with no upkeep costs) and more durtanium brackets for hull (also at no increased upkeep cost)
