I am rank 353 and want to change race to either Kronyn, Mylarai or Taltherian. Which one should I do first? Is there an order of these 3 that are best? Sorry if this has been asked / answered here. I have been looking through many posts and am not finding this information. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Kronyn, research high level modules, then go to Mylarai to afford the high level modules, as well for the 10% hull modules. Talth would be your end phase for your planet uplifts which would give you nice Artifact an hour. After you get bored with the 3 uplift race, become a konqul excavator.

talith will benefit you the most, that being said :

if you are after the medals do:
Kronyn
Mylarai
Talith

If you are not after the medals, and you would like either mining / research to be higher do:
kronyn / mylarai
Talith

if neither of the above apply go Talith

Thank you for your input on it. I do try to get medals, so perhaps I will do it in the order suggested of Kronyn, Mylarai, and Taltherian (Although higher Artifacts would be fantastic, but I understand why to delay this).

Next question is any recommendations on which Profession for each of those Races. I know that can be preference, but would still like to hear opinions on it. Thank you again!

Mylarai has Fixer as a solid choice. It doesn't get Excavator, unfortunately.

The other two do, however, get Excavator and it comboes well with Talth particularly.

Kronyn Excavator, Excavator would benefit your artifact per hour while you work on uplifting research planets.

Mylarai Explorer or Fixer, use Fixer if you want to PvP while uplifting you mining planets.

Taltherian Excavator, best of both worlds. Uplifting artifact planets with an extra 10% bonus.

Talth all the way. No reason to delay.
Unless you are a good way into the other chains no reason to wait on talth.
Arti is power.
More arti gets you more scientists and res without taking planet slots.
With the gtc you should be able to easily support yourself until your mining catches up
If it really comes to it. One arti planet is worth multiple res or mining

if you npc a bit then dont even bother with the mylarai, you just need a few blade harvesters to get the purifiers to uplift your planets

Taltherian...simply i will buy your services and get you the research or mining that you're after all with one chain

This made me laugh.

look at it this way. very massive arti planet x15, easily sold for 18K +, that would buy you 7-11 maxed toxics (depending on price and any bulk deals)
or you could get 3-5 maxed plasmas for the same, with the same stipulations. and all you had to do was take a month or so to work on one planet, sell it, and now youre ahead in whichever resource you need.

16X Toxics will eventually be easy to make
17X Plasmas take longer, but are still buildable from an endless supply of NPC drops
15X arti worlds are hard to find and can't be built from NPC drops.

Artifacts are also the only commodity worth a crap once you've got upkeep paid. If you want the medals for the other two, go for it, but otherwise, ditch them as quickly as possible. They're poor investments of your time - making a 15X from a Mega Rich takes about a month, so you might as well be using that time in a way that will benefit you forever, rather than just in your low levels.

It depends on whether you prefer to increase research, minerals or artifacts. As a Kronyn, I can erudite planets to upgrade the research. As far as the other two, I haven't finished the Taltherian Chain yet, and the Mylarai can't be builder, so it would cost twice as much to maintain my ship if I chose another profession.
Whatever planet resources you wish to increase, these are the choices:

Minerals-Mylarai
Research-Kronyn
Artifacts-Taltherian

Kronyn is the easiest to get, and gets you lots of CTP if you can wait and sell Plasma planets. With the CTP, you can buy great AP planets, already made, while still benefiting from the Kronyn ability.

i would recommend that only if you havent wasted the glaviz devices or spheres of the new era or spend RL$ on the game, no point changing race only to get stuck with something thats not the best.

mylarai better when lower ranked as if you need "builder" to afford your daily upkeep there is no mylarai builder. I forgot I had finished that race thread and when I wanted to switch to it, I would have to remove items from my ship and weaken it a lot

I still say its better to plan for the future. A 15x takes about a month regardless of the race you pick. That's a good chunk of time. If you get to high level, 15x research or mining planets will not be valuable. You'll have them, but they'll be a dime a dozen, particularly the mining ones. A 15x arti world is valuable for your entire career, and makes you more powerful. Use your time wisely.
