That's the proper way to run a ship.
Trade off weapons for energy mods right at a rank boost.

It's actually very good. 2k attack and def is very high at rank 125. 2k attack and def is rank 200 avg strength

duffy, how have you managed to get 9.6 bill upkeep? im just nearing 4bill and im rank 636 (non sab, non builder) ive got 3 dark bots, so my upkeep is really about 4.3-4.5 bill i think.

I run with a miserly 6.5k energy, its enough to get by on. those 33k npc kills produced a lot of terraformers to help production stats too.

i am currently working on 1k E, then goes up to 1800 for leveling e.t.c! Hull is 9.2k and sheilds 1.5k all unbuffed!

I probed the four rank 200 guys on my tab, one had 1k of each and all the rest had 2.5k of each.
