Yes I am back if you saw my earlier post a couple weeks ago. Anyway I would like to know how I am doing. Please don't post any other ship suggestions. I am asking about my ship, not others. Anyway: Size class: Heavy Cruiser Space: 308/309 Attack: 420 Defence: 275 Scan: 1 Cloak: 0 Cargo: 272/800 Upkeep: 718.4k Konqul: Attack +20% Fixer: Hull +30% Hull: 2041 Shield: 235 Mining: 366/hr Artifact: 208/hr Research: 402/hr If you need more detail to judge my ship please request so. (Don't PM me) |

I agree, but I seem to find more mining planets and research planets then artifact planets. If I find an artifact planet usually it isn't good. The only good arti planet I found is a 2x mega rich terra. I am Insane. |

Seems good, but honestly it's hard to remember what qualified as "above average" stats back in that range. If you want a comparison, I recommend opening up your BT and hitting every other ship on it with Spy Probe Weapons and Defense. Then stick enough scan on to see their hull/shields, and you should be able to work out a rough comparison rather quickly. |

Yeah I usually try and disable the weaker ships I see on the BT. If I don't find any weaker ships then I use a scan artifact to help. Often then I find easier ships. I don't disable ships that take heaps of energy, only ships that take a few hits. |

No it's not a facepalm because you can look at the ships of those in the afore mentioned threads and you can see what people told them to improve, you can take from this to improve your own ship in the same way. Other than that keep your production up especially artifact, and keep PvPing until you have all four Dom mark 3 cannons and and all 3 protean armoriess. |

not to be rude but your rank 44.... the only way you can utterly fail by rank 44 is if you only have mining planets, then you just need to reset, for all else there's scan & spy probes. |

When your just starting off it can be alot of trial and error, i myself reset several times before landing on a setup that suited me. You shouldnt be concerned with what other people think of your ship, the only thing that should matter is that your play style is giving you positive returns. |

Agreed although most people find it beneficial to PvP from the get-go to get all the relevant battle market modules as it gets harder the higher up you get. |

Ok so I am back. This time with a better looking ship I hope. Rank: 66 Ship decks: 500 (Light dreadnought ^_^) Attack: 1000 (2x Heavy Singularity Launchers, 3x Dominion Cannons MkII (shouldn't have done that), 1x Dominion Cannon and Continuum Parsar bonus 80 attack) Defense: 871 (2x Phase Shift Engines MkIII, Auto Evasion Node, BM50 Convoy Shuttle, Dark Ring Thruster) Scan: 81 (Continuum Parser) Cloak:120 (Continuum Parsar Bonus 80 cloak, Zolazin Jammer) Energy:270 (Omicron Injector, Drannik Power Core, Surge Plexus, Plasma Relay) Hull: 3588 (4x Nexus Grids, 2x Protean Armouries) Shields:200 (2x T.O Harmonic Pulsars, Harmonic Resonator) Konqul: +20% attack Fixer:+30% hull Upkeep: 16.4 million Minerals/hr: 532 Artifact/hr: 449 Research/hr: 651 Please no criticising and if you need more info let me know. |

CouncilOfOrder wrote: Please no criticising Then why ask? The purpose for most people in posting these threads is to request constructive criticism so that they can improve. Anyway, your artifact is still a bit low. I realize you're in an artifact legion, so it's all right for now, but you'll want higher production later (mine was at about 1100-1200/hr when I was in the rank 60s). How much research have you done in planetary construction? Also, since you're in an artifact legion, I'd recommend getting into the CT lab. There are some really good planet artifacts in there that could boost your production by quite a bit (especially research). Regarding your ship, attack/defense/hull look good. You don't really need the harmonic pulsars since the amount of shield you have is so low that they're just taking up space. Get a better relay instead (plasma is pretty low on the tree, if I remember correctly). |

Not bad, AP needs to go up. What production buildings are you running? Get +6's as soon as possible if you don't have them already, +8's would be a nice improvement if you can afford those. Get better energy tech, I would personally suggest Zero-point reactors + isomorphic relays. Take off the surge plexus for now, it's not exactly the most efficient module if you're looking for energy. The continuum parsers can be taken off and replaced for an extra singularity launcher. Get your 3rd protean armory quickly, before killing and raiding becomes much more of an energy drain. |

I will keep my Continuum Parser because that gives me some decent cloak for hiding my ship stats and for the rare NPC's that require cloak. I plan to research the planetary construction after I finish the Light Antiproton Cannon research. Then I plan to research energy, I need the Surge Plexus for the energy. My energy is very low without it. I am also half way to getting my 3rd protean. |

Unless you really hate getting disabled, or aimed primarily at hacking all day long, using cloak to hide is kind of a waste of space. |
