I've been encouraged to do some PvPing now (rather than later) to get things like Dominion Cannons and Protean Armouries before PvPing become near impossible. The problem I've got is that I get too few stryll trap probes or null fuses to counter-act the horrendous amount of Krionus Virus Traps I run into. If I'm lucky, when playing with no Nulls/Trap Probes I'll get half a dozen kills in an entire day once I wait for each Krionus Virus to time out. I was wondering if any of the big-time PvPers on here could possibly offer me any advice to more efficiently PvP or maybe gauge whether or not someone has traps active. Maybe there's another artifact with which I can see traps online or another way I can get rid of KVT effects on my ship. My legion are advising me to stash up Null Fuses but I seem to be getting next to none with 4500 artifact points per hour at rank 243.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

More artifact production is the only answer, really. But another good tip is checking the players actions. If it reads 3/5/5, then they more than likely have a Halycon Trap on.

Just add if they have 2/4-5/4-5 it is a good chance they were killed and if you are lucky a legionmate repaired them rather than themselves and they have no traps. also laughables tend not to have traps, either because they don't care or other already hit them.

Yup! You won't able to tell if the ship have Krionus Virus or not (Unless your ship is below rank 30) But I do exactly what "Bluecifer" do... check their activities. And I throw in "Spy Probe Resources" and also review the use of any temporary beneficial effects on their ship, which kinda let you gauge if they might be online or not. Hope that may help.

Good luck on your pvping!

I will give you my best pvp tips, open multiple tab (2 to 12), use each tab for a player on your battletab. Tap them until you hit the krionus (on every enemy) then wait 30 minutes and you should get a couple of kill (even if some have halcyons) for no null fuse at all.

good method ^^, also as stated before lok at actions, if their kills are at least ( raids left -3 ) chances are they dont have a KVT.
