thats for those rifted planets yeah?
im almost rank 400 and not even done Terra Project yet.
rift planets though... one guy in my legion shared his, 3600 arti, 1100 mineral and 1300 research per hour from it, and yes they are invincible.

Depends on your budget. I paid for mine outright.

There are players who claim to have gotten all the QSEs naturally. Here is the math...

The QSE is dropped by the TO Troop Carrier. According to http://galaxylegion.com/wiki/index.php/T.O._Troop_Carrier, approximately 1 in every 20 TO Troop Carriers will drop a QSE ( 5% = 1/20 ). To get 10 QSEs would require, on average, 200 TO Troop Carriers.

Accoring to http://galaxylegion.com/wiki/index.php/Equations#NPC_Formulas, approximately 1 in every 222.2 NPCs will be a TO Troop Carrier ( sum of weights = 3112; 3112/14 = 222.2 ). To get the required 200 TO Troop Carriers would require, on average, 44400 NPCs ( 200 * 222.2 ).

Looking at some of the higher-ranked players in my own legion, I see that is common to have well in excess of that number of NPC kills, so it is plausible.

In one word yes, if you have the money and your willing to spend it on GL then it's one of the first things you should get.

The Colossal Project makes the Dyson, not rifts. The Dyson, Exotic, FATHERS and Trinity Cores are the best things to spend money on, IMO.

Those numbers are way off. It is probably closer to 1 in 100 drops a QSE

Their spawn rate is still correct in my opinion

In my expert opinion, that is my opinion on which I am an expert, Absolutely worth it and the lower your rank the better.

Now I'm currently low on CT lab buildings for my Dyson, but I'm able to get a reasonable 2000+ total production per hours from it (with +12 buildings). Assuming no cap worries for this discussion, it works out to around 336,000 production per week, and I've had it for around 3 months now.

So if you think at least 15 million production per year that can't be stolen (the planet that is), then go for it.

(stealth edit, you did not see that mistake).

OK so if I do this I want to do it to what type, size, richness of planet?

these do vary by what the planet originally was right?

If you doing the mission for the dyson you want to have enough green badges to get a lodus thingy. Invade a metallic world, size and richness doesnt matter, but if you feel like being mean then go for the best. Use the dyson transformer on it use the lodus to getthe full +4 mining bonus, and wait for the fun messages to fly

No the original size/richness doesn't matter it always ends up at a Collosal 28x all around dyson that's invincible.

The Dyson mission's worth it - I recommend maxing that sucker out with artifacts of all varieties. Exploit those 3 28X's to make an extremely productive planet so you need fewer mining and research worlds in the future. Put every artifact structure you can find on it - it's a great way to keep valuable structures safe (like your Omnibase).

for the rift prodject, i heard its better if you find a natural dyson, max out its size and resources with artifacts and then rift it. is that true or just a trick to convince people to spend money for nothing?
