As a Taltherian, what planet types (please list stats) do you prefer to use the ability on?

Also do you build up one planet or spread the ability around to multiple planets?

personally I plan to use it to make artifact even with planets I plan to enhance using terraformers.

But if you plan just to use the ability to get it up to 15x, bigger the planet the better. You can probably find a few VR/ER massive/VM oceanics. You could do it on a VM gas and make it into a plasma for a 15x C planet, but that takes awhile.

Agreed with Fluffy - the biggest planet you can find is what you want. I think it's better to load one up to 15X and then move on to the next - load up that planet with artifacts and +12's - fewer planets to defend and be watchful for, and if the planet's big enough, you can use cloak buildings and passives to make the planet unscannable.

If possible, use your Talth ability on big desert and barren worlds, then make crystals and sentients out of them. (Ice melters are even better if you've still got 'em - a 17X Mega Colossal is a nice thing to have - I've made three and am finishing up #4)

What I have personally done is to make all my artifact planets that are Large or bigger to megarich and now am focusing on making one planet at a time up to 15X. Starting with my largest planets first.

This was my thinking as well. Not putting all your eggs in one basket - I had a nightmare about my only 15x mega art getting taken last night....

Like I said, with Meta-Tuned Jammers, Ergosphere whatevers, and the passive cloaking from Fab Plants, it's possible to get a planet's cloak past 19k and into the unscannable range. Leaderboard folks can have all the attack power in the world, but what they can't find, they can't take. Crit hacks are always possible, of course, but the chance of your best planet getting found that way is incredibly small. No non-invincible planet is ever completely safe, but unscannable is about as close as you can get. Since you'll have a limited number of planets you can do this to, I think it's better to concentrate the Taltherian ability rather than spread it around. Focus your best artifacts on the buffed, unscannable planets so that the artifacts themselves are protected as well. If you don't have access to the high-level missions that give Jammers yet, don't forget your ship's cloaking ability - guarding a planet can push a well-cloaked planet into the unscannable range - and again, you can't guard 20 planets, just the one.

Best would be a VM gas.

Phasic chain ionizers are easy to make, which means that C plasmas are easy to come by.

I wouldn't waste a melter on anything less then a 20X.

Ergo, if you're shooting for 15X's, I'd build it on a VM gas then use the plasma maker to get some extra space.
