How would i best use the Dyson transformer?

Well, you're right and your wrong. It is a different item but realistically, the same thread. Find a metallic someone else has, invade, use an assimilation loci on it, make it a dyson.

Or put use it on a metallic you own.

Much less options compared to the exotic.
