How is the Hyper Terrorformer best used?

Pick your worst planet. Use the hyper terraformer on it. Load it with lots of artifact production. To optimize some CTLab structures, you may want to pick your worst unscanned planet that you didn't invade.

Get a planet with an Assimilation Locus(invade planet)also take one with get a planet to 20X mega in all production then use it you then got a 33x+ mega also use kronyn data cubes too exceed research limit you can get a max of 6 by your self so it would be 33xmining/artifact 39x research

Does planet size matter?

This is one of the few instances when size does not matter (much). It can be a tiny very sparse barren or a mega colossal 17x oceanic or anything in between. A Hyperterraformer ALWAYS makes a Massive 13x/13x/13x Exotic.

I also have a dyson transformer, how would i best use that?

Hyper Terraformer makes a 13x/13x/13x Massive out of anything. Using it on a 20x/20x/20x would be an absolutely horrible idea.

Nope, it makes any planet into 13x mega all res, very large or large, forgot which one.

An alternative is to be a troll: here is how.


Step 1: "takes le planet with 2x of all storage + Gp items+ rare artifacts!*
Step 2: Mylarai all of the stuff off (since your exotic should be production!) and do whatever you want with it.
Step 3: Say "Thank you for the planet" once the owner disables you.
Step 4: Use Hyperterraformer.
Step 5: ????
Step 6: Enjoy your cannot-be-retaken-planet with all production and an envious noob.

Exotic becomes massive

I'm intending to use mine (when I eventually get it) on a tiny icy with a permafrost sub-network and a currently inactive owner. I've got my assimilation locus ready, just waiting for 7 more TO troop carriers to show up.

May as well use that Assimilation Locus... More than likely going to have plenty of chances to get more before you get your TOs lol.

I know it's common advice to invade your soon to be mission exotic or dyson so that you can get the size 2, 4 mining version of the Assimilation Locus. The latest CTLab discovery has made that a bad idea in my opinion.

The Galactic Concord Station comes in a size 1, mining 2, artifact 2 version if it's placed when the planet has not been attacked in the last 9 months. I assume that it's doubled on a recently colonized (hence never attacked) planet as well. Invading a planet to get the better Locus mean at least nine months with 1 less artifact point being produced. That means (assuming you have an Intraphasic Hoveroid on it) a loss of about 93K AP on a mission exotic or 138K AP on a mission dyson (340 AP a day on the exotic, 504/day on the dyson).

So it depends on how long you plan to play the game
In the short run, u miss out on 1 art/hr*multiplier but gains 1 min/hr*multiplier for 9 monthes
in the long run... you will net 2 min/hr*multiplier indefintely

I'd say if you plan to play for more than a year afterward, the lotus is the better choice, as you will never get a re-do there
but if you are not sure, you can settle for concord.

unless you plan on getting mining from your exotic I don't see why a locus would help
