I guess now I've been disabled twice... so I guess I should learn from the awesome guys who were capable of disabling me. Let's see... I go around and find guys 7-8 levels lower then me and take them out. That's how I raise my credibility as a badass on this game. I see now. Ok... all you guys around the level 23 or so better watch out for me. I wanna be just like Frosst from Hailstorm and Miguel Reyes from Stargate Command Sg1. Both Alliances have (50) members in them, so either this is the accepted strategy here (being a puss and taking on those who couldn't possibly defend themselves) or, they just didn't realize they accepted such losers. Either way, I'm glad I'm not in their Alliances... I'd hate to be a part of that cheap way of playing.
It's all good I guess... I'm playing Space Empires now... this game is good for what it's worth, but SE has more depth.

Wow, he just called the developer a puss! The battle tab continually and purposefully shows people a few ranks lower. Very rarely do I ever see anyone ranked higher than me. I am sure it is balanced for ship strength. Also, many of the so called combat losers are responding to legion alerts. There is nothing wrong with helping your legion even if the attacker is many ranks below you.

Protection is one of many reasons to be in a legion.

might be an interesting poll question... I think you are over estimating the "many." maybe 10-15% would pass on a legion alert just because of the lower rank.

Most players in my battle tab are higher by 10-20 levels, rarely see any under level 80, I'm 78. Most are over 90-100.
No reason to get butthurt if someone disables you, this isn't Farmville.

After that I switched 7 artifacts planets from research to artifacts. Decks from artifacts and NPCs outweigh decks from leveling now. After decks become a non-issue, there is only the issue of balancing your maintenance with your income and further planet development. The game only gets more complex as you go on. Artifact production and NPC hunting become the premier source of decks as you go on. Twinking yourself early on like that may stunt you overall though. Research is important earlier and it goes on for a very long time untill you can't afford your upkeep. It is good to research and install planet structures before that happens though. Everyone has their own delicate balance. From all the Fracken Frack I have read in the forums now...I hate when they say frack. Anyway now it seems to me, I'm #&$# out off luck to ever catch up with the players that started this game less than a year ago. Tell me if I'm wrong in my thinking? Tell me why I should play a game that changes monthly to fit old players style of game play. A new player like myself said " it will take me year to do the terra mission" Frack yes! it will now! back in the early days of this game, it was easy to level up fast. seams to me, if you do not start a facebook game when it first starts, your fracked out of luck. Ok that is out. Give me a break lol Someone compared this game here to MW on Facebook. I did too at first. Most everyone in Mofia wars is ranked 500 ranks above me there. I'm still working on NY and most everyone I know was way past that. I gave up on that stupid game. The same thing is going to happen here. I gave up on MW and another stupid game called FV, just to find a cool game called Galaxy Legion. I love this game the most. It seems I should have started playing it back 9 months ago. What really ticks me off is, the so called old players. Do you really think your better than me? True, you are now. Where are you going to be, when there is no one on here? Come on. From what I have seen, the only people that post on the the forums, is the ones that rule this game and want to brag:) Tell me, could you do it all over again? I mean without help? now? no legion or clan?

@Iric Level gaps happen in all games, not just in GL. If level gaps throw you off, you are S outta luck at any game where being a higher level player is advantageous than the alternative. What is relevant is that if new players are at relative disadvantage or not. You have one seemingly good example of hyper terraformer drop rate, which I sympathize. I'd suggest that you expand on that point, and come up with solutions, then discuss it with other players and/or suggest them to Dan. I believe you will achieve what you want faster that way, unless what you want is a rage quit. Sinsa

Iric Miles wrote: Tell me, could you do it all over again? I mean without help? now? no legion or clan? Um do you not know how this game started?? When we first started playing there was no legions to join. Our legions where to get to know some of the players here and friend them. We made it this far. I know you guys can too if you tried. Join a small ranking legion and learn and grow together. Then once you all hit around the 100 rank range you will be a force to be reckoned with. I say this because you will all most likely know each other better and know what each others weak and strong points are to help you out in each battle. Not only that but you can help each other out more and more as you grow by sending artifacts and/or fighting off those who would cross you together. If you do this I'm sure you could have all sorts of fun in the game.

i figure just cyclin through the people on the battle page, one tap each till he comes up then light him up lol then i'm in his log, or if i hit a trap of his he's in mine..then the volleys go back an forth tho it would be simpler if there was a spot on the battle page to issue a challenge

Wow, I don't even remember posting to this thread, until I read it again I remember, I was so frustrated at the time, of how long it takes to level up here. It's all good I guess... I'm playing Space Empires now... this game is good for what it's worth, but SE has more depth. I had to much space ale that night and I tend to rant Why I called dreamsingray a kiss ass, is beyond me. Maybe it was some of her statements. dreamsingray wrote: whats your ingame name? *innocent smile* After looking up her in game name "War Child" I see she is one of the leaders of the top three legions here. From what Ive seen here so far, there is no skill at playing this game lol Just time and real money. Well, it helps to have some of the best top players in your clan ;-D
