I just got thinking...
Right now, there is no point spending silver badges. I have my surge plexi for NPCing, and I don't particuarly base battle much. I'm not maxed on defenses yet, and I'll be doing TT arrays soon enough that I won't have any dire need for the BM Convoys for defense. (It seriously annoys me when I see people using them as pure defense anyways, instead of their researched modules which are more efficient*)
Is there actually any point in fighting level 3 bases? The Exo-Clamps seem pretty pathetic to me.
*Energy Nullifiers onward only.

Have you heard of the barrier nexus? I could use a pair of those on every artifact world, and every decent mining/research world for defense. It'll be a while before silvers become passe for me.

Ahh. I'd totally forgotten about them. I feel thick now because I actually stopped, with the Barrier Nexus on the screen to make this thread.

yep barriers thats what im working on now, if you wait till you have 20 silvers they make a good replacement for 1 obv barrier, defense offset is actually in the green (litterally) and you dont lose any production value

Barrier Nexus's, and when you've had enough of them add some Exo-Clamps for Nav..
Btw, Keep a supply of about 50 in store, Incase a new mod comes out.

WHY THE **** DID I POST THIS?
