A good portion of us have seen the thread discussing how to cloak planets so they're invisible. And in particular, I've got a VM 4x arti/research icy that I'm working on turning into a 17/17x Mega Colossal Oceanic. Now I've been diligently putting the fruits of all my Fab Plants on it and I've got 2k passive defense and 1500 passive cloak on it so far.

My question now is simple. I've begun getting the octafari hyper dimensional anchors. Each give you 90 passive cloak that you can put on a planet that's not an oceanic which is fine because it's currently an icy anyways. Should I wait till I max out my passive cloak from that Fab Plant drops, or do anchors have the same limit? If they don't boost cloak above 3k, then there's really no point waiting to put these on my VM Icy.

The same question goes for the Xecti Ensconcing Fields. Should a person wait? Is there a cap to them?

I can't recall the details of the Octafari thingamabob, but the Xecti one does not have a limit. HOWEVER, if you use them before maxing out the Interspatial Fold Generators, you will waste potential cloak value because the fold generators will not work after 3000/3100. Bang for your buck, max the fold generators, try the Octafari thingy, then use the Xecti field.
