I'm rank 180 and currently I'm getting around 29,000 credits per mineral point. I'm just wondering how this increases as you get higher in rank. I'm trying to plan for what kind of upkeep I'll be able to afford later.

at rank 514 i get about 34500 per mineral point... so it goes up a bit. i attribute it to the increase in aidonium as you grow your cargo.

if your looking to be able to aford upkeep and still keep a "decent" ( i put this in quotes for the elite people on the forums, does not apply to everyone ) then you should look at NPC / mission dropped gear, deck :: output ratio is usually better than the typical curve for researchable ship mods, and thier upkeep is usually less.

my ship only has 10 researchable modules, but thats factoring in 4 relays and a power core.

rank 169, upkeep 33.4 million, and I can take down most anyone on my BT, or that hits me randomly without having to reconfigure my ship design.

one hour a completely unreliable measure- the 10 hr example above would be the absolute minimum i would use for a calculation like this- the times i have done it i have usually used 24 hr calculations
