When do I need to pull in order to get them fairly frequently? Trying to make a DM79 datacenter.

you mean Phasic Chain-Ionizer Transforms a gas planet into a Plasma world, enhancing its size by 1, research by 2, and defense by 300.
cuz for DM79 datacenter you dont need them...

Common Artifacts page on the wiki1/60 chance of getting a processing core if you pull when over 20,000 1/59 chance of getting a processing core if you pull between 5,000 and 19,999 1/58 chance of getting a processing core if you pull between 4,000 and 4,999 1/56 chance of getting a processing core if you pull between 3,500 and 3,999 1/55 chance of getting a processing core if you pull between 3,000 and 3,499 1/54 chance of getting a processing core if you pull between 2,100 and 2,999 1/53 chance of getting a processing core if you pull between 2,000 and 2,099 0 chance of getting a processing core if you pull under 2,000 there you go... best chance is when AP falls between 2,000 and 2,099

Lol, I consider it a good thing. That means he knows the answer to any arti pull question. Thank you Lone!

there's an equal chance of pulling any artifact that you have enough points for... so if you're below the required amount for an artifact, that artifact isn't counted....
generally speaking though, if you want a specific artifact, only pull when you're above the required amount for the artifact you want, and try to keep your points from getting too high to minimize chances of getting other things that would eat more points than the artifact you want
for instance if you want rescued prisoners, try to pull between 4,000 and 4,999 for the best chance.... of course this isn't always possible, since many people have more than 1,000 research per hour.... if that's the case, you'll occasionally be over 5,000 (continuum beacon) or 20,000 (mass storage pod)... so just make sure to check every hour so you minimize the chances of getting an item that eats more points than the one you're after
make sense?

make sense? yes it makes sense, i am way over 4k/h (for prisoners) so this method dont work for me, i thought that you have some more advanced math... i use this method to avoid MSP's..but i need to pop on every 2h to avoid them... so during the night i still have troubles to avoid them...

i hear ya.... i'm at roughly 9.4k right now... if i claim all every 2 hrs i can avoid the heavy point-wasting msp as well... the 20K for the MSP is quite valuable as it can become a large handful of artis if it doesn't become an MSP
while trying to avoid MSPs and Continuum beacons, most people w/ ApH over 3K will end up getting more of them than they need anyway.... so it's best for those folks just to claim as often as they can, stopping only when they drop below the AP for their target arti (since you don't have a chance of pulling any artifact that you don't have enough points for)
sorry there isn't any more advanced math than that... the chance of getting a specific arti on a specific arti pull is quite simply 1/n, where n = the number of artis that have AP values less than or equal to the AP you currently have..... putting multiple chances together in a single equation is possible, though if AP drops low enough to eliminate a few artis from the draw, the equation changes conditionally based on the artis still available.... so it's easier on the brain just to look at it in terms of a single pull

Well, I have roughly 1100 arti per hour now, which is good for pulling, but either way, I still need to bring that up eventually. I can't do anything in the CT Lab until then.

Step 2: Pull Artys until you the first time doing so causes you to drop below the value at which that arty you are trying to get is available Step 3: Goto Step 1. XD And to whomever called Lycan a Nerd, I don;t think his information is useless at all, I'm a proud Meta-Gamer myself -- Geeks! And Proud of it. Nerds know the command codes to the Starship Enterprise and use that as their password to log into GL. Geeks figure out what the best ratio of Energy to XP is for a given NPC to optimize their ability to rank up. (-Q: A Geek and Proud of it! ^^) Also, this obviously is NOT as intuitive as I think, so Lone.Lycan would you do the honor of adding it to the Equations page in the Wiki? This talk has got me thinking we really should create a better wiki presence for the meta-gamers, I always feel that the info on strategy is poorly presented and not properly coalescing in the Wiki, any Ideas mate? -Q

And Q^3, for what it's worth, LL just fixed a major problem I was having that turned out to have a very minor fix. So he officially moves up to geek now. lol
