To those who level off killing NPCs, don't you get bored doing it?

Apart from the excessive button clicking not really. It's pretty fast paced to get through as many as possible before a neural runs out. There's also the joys of getting the rares and stuff. In my opinion the rewards for production are better than can be had through missions so this compensates for the higher XP. It also takes elegant ship builds to get it right.

I can power through NPCs i just get bored doing it. I've done all the missions and have 4 mark 3 dominion cannons. All i have left to get is the dark badge modules, new NPC hull module and some continuum parsers. I get bored hitting bases same as NPCs.

I might get a little bored, but I really want another QSE, it's been taking forever, so I've become very focused on that, sort of a tunnel vision.

It does get a bit boring but the very worst thing are those dam assassins. I absolutely hate them and look forwad to seeing Flamehawks :(

At least they help towards getting new artifacts. The low XP is the problem for you but I'm ok with it. Once I'm able to contribute energy to the base I'll go back to ranking once a day. Been goin up 2 levels a day while waiting to become loyal to Torment.

TBH I dont really hate any npc's what I hate is waiting for energy and repair timers etc.

If Dan instituted an option for "Use all energy necessary to kill this NPC" or something for 1 click. You would lose control over countering debuffs, but at least you could kill them faster.

I think NPC's are horrendously tedious. I know I could have all sorts of planet improvers if I'd just sit and kill 50,000 flamehawks, but good God. I'm in no hurry to finish all the missions, because I know what awaits at the end.

I think everything about the game is mighty fun. What do you mean by boring Mento ? I think you don't get the essence of this game. seriously. You should play more Bushwaker imo.
