I want to become Mylarai to make 15x Mining VM Gases so that I can, in the long run, max the passives and plasma.

But the Mylarai chain is SO long...

Zolazin Chain: 49,025 energy
Stryll Chain: 51,100 energy
Kronyn Chain: 84,500 energy (Wow, that's longer than I thought...)
Mylariai Chain: 136,875 energy

Now, to me, all of these chains are long, but is Mylarai actually worth unlocking?

get kronyn. cause it takes the same time as a mylarai to build a 15x, but then u could exchange the planet with someone for a mining one

well, back to the topic i would say absolutely yes. you're a slow ranker, meaning inevitably the upkeep is gonna catch up to you, probably quicker than most. i think its best that you get that mining asap

I say it's worth it, all the artifacts the chain gives are great, and most of the experience ratios are great in terms of other mission experience ratios, a lot give 2.6ex per energy, that+a neural interface gives almost a 3.0 return!

as for the energy requirements...I NEVER noticed it, not because I was rank 300 when I changed to Mylarai, but because I finished each and every mission when it was still timed, so too me it felt like no energy at all; however 130K energy is a good chunk of energy, but it's NOTHING compared to the 400K it takes to unlock the taltherians(which I'm working on now) d:

I would say be mylarai for a while until you have a nice collection of mining planets then switch to something else.

My plan = Sillix > Mylarai > Taltherian > Lazuli

Konqul>Mylarai>Drannik/Lazuli

it's too bad I don't like the zolazin, lazuli, genetarr, kronyn, or any of the starter races(minus konqul)

Dranniks cool but I don't really want to become them unless next unlockable race or two both kinda stink, which leaves the mylarai, taltheria, konqul , and maybe soon to be xecti? I don't know yet.

point is, I still think mylarai is a great choice, doesn't matter how strong you are if you can't afford it, and since it was just made more difficult to obtain any planet enriching artifact by way of NPC hunting, the Mylarai, Taltherians (and Kronyn if you're into that kind of thing) are clearly the NEW BEST choice to upgrade your planets.....think, either hours a days killing NPCS, spending tens of thousands of energy and repairing costs to obtain at best 2 or 3 planet enriching artifacts, OR 200 energy every 40 hours for a single enrichment. sure they're slower at making good planets, but they're FAR FAR cheaper
