Hi the dyson transformer mission which you have to use 10 quasi expanders for does it transform a metallic planet to a dyson or does it find a existing dyson and add it to your planet list? On the mission it says it expands a existing metallic planet to a dyson but i read in the forums it just finds a existing one for you can someone answer my question so i have no doubt which one it does i dont want to spend 50$ to find out what it does.

I would guess that which artifact you get is no longer completely random but weighted. I think I've gotten 4 terraformeing disks and no quasi-spatial expanders since they were implemented. Can anyone else back this up?

Artifacts do appear to be weighted. I've also gotten 4-5 terraforming devices recently but only 1 quasi-spatial.

Quasi-expander is ultra rare artifact.. I NEVER ever gotten one in spite of my 1,700 artifact points per hour production and I always claim everytime my stored AP goes over 20k (for mass cargo) for weeks.. I like the idea of quasi-expander as ultra rare and would like to keep it that way because Dyson is supposed to be ultra rare. Good set up, Dan.

I just received very first quasi-expander! Only cost 6k artifact points by the way.. Gee. That is really rare.. I hope rarity stays that way.

Kind of a late reply, but will the dyson transformer make a tiny metallic planet into a colossal dyson with 28X Mega rich everything?

I'm not sure if metallic planets come in "tiny".

I would say yes, because it uses quasi-spatial expanders as part of the requirements to do it in the first place. I'm not in a position to test this firsthand, though. I'm still in the low 60's myself, and I barely have 400 pts of artifact per hour.

Yes it does. No matter what size your metallic is it will turn to a colossal world with those income rates.

Nah, it just transforms a player into a Dysonian. Unique bonus to that transformer is that it allows to add those transformed Dysonians to the legion beyond 50-members cap.
