Post subject: | Rearranging ship |
Recently I have been doing more and more NPCs. I want to rearrange my ship so that I can maximize attack, but I have too many NPC/Mission modules and not enough cargo space. Right now, it stands like this: Weapons: Heavy Singularity Launcher x3, Psionic Amplifier, Dominion Cannon x4, Crimson Auto-Phaser x2, Prototype Mech XV Energy Singularity Core - Mark IV x3, Drannik Power Core x3, Positron Relay x4, F.A.T.H.E.R., Omicron Injector Sensors Stryll Hunt Sensor x2, Exo-Temporal Translator x3, Sha'din Supercomputer x2, Stryll Transponder x2, AI - Supercomputer Hull Nexus Armor x3, Vortul Plating x2 Shields Harmonic Resonator, Q-Phase Battery Array Cloaking Zolazin Jammer, Kronyn Anomaly Engine x4 Defenses Phase Shift Engine - Mark III, Thrust Stabilizer 637 decks. Any ideas on how I can optimize NPCing? |

sell whatever items you think are easily got...your legion gets a lot of crinson bosses?...drop the auto phasers. sell/drop all shield and maximise hull...at your level you get loads more hit points for hull and if you npc...shields are worthless if they need charging, whereas hull is a small cr contribution away |

Our legion doesn't get alot of elites at all. The auto-phasers are from Crimson Armories, not elites anyway. The only shield modules online are tier rewards. ![]() |

BASE COMBAT - For NPC ing, you'll want high energy and attack. Take part in lots of base battles, get the badges for a surge plexus or 3 ![]() |

The thing about npcing at your rank is maxing your attack, you can pretty much forget about anything else. Install all weapons modules, then max out your hull as much as possible and max your energy too. When ranking up I would recommend spending your points on energy as you will be able to do more damage overall, plus you will be able to hit many more npcs. Minimize cloak and try to have your scan around the 200 mark(300 max), any higher and you run the risk of getting elites which are too big for you and your legion just now. The next best thing for you to do is slow down on research and start getting artifact planets. This is so you will be getting more ship bots and rescued prisoners and all the buffs you can use. You may need to up your mining a little depending how much you pull in just now. Thats pretty much what I did/do, Im currently rank 263 with 4457 npc kills and only 39557 battles. Im currently ranking up about 3/4 times a day cos my max energy is 2678. I can usually attack for the full 5 mins between repairs now but sometimes I need to use nanos. If you need any more help/advice just pm me and I wil help you out. |

i know many players suggest otherwize, but... you should just sink a couple lvl's of rank points into cargo so you have a place to put your stuff. dont sell anything you cant buy. anyway the loss of 10 or 20 decks now for 100 or 200 cargo will be compensated by having higher artifact production later. 20 is nothing compared to the 100's you will get later. i did this and it helped a ton. now my cargo is more than twice my deck space and i can still take more, but from pods and containers not rank points (at my rank "300" AP does it all, and has since rank 150) think i put maybe 10 ranks into cargo, that may have been a bit much but it made managing my ship mods a lot easier a lot sooner |
