If I make a post like "hey whats this planet worth?" and someone else replies with "10K ctp", then are the moderators going to comment on that also? Why just now is this a problem? Discussions of trades, exchange rates, etc have happened many times over without issue?
It is not something that will hold true with time and thus can be misleading to beginners who read the beginners hub where this was originally posted in.
It is like the Argoss's guide. It is so outdated, telling people to put rank points into cargo and decks. It is not useful now, but at the time it was. He is simply trying to prevent a situation that will arise with the passing of time.
